Prayer was at 7.15 which is now led by KEN-JEEN!. Do keep him in prayer as well.

After prayer was worship led by Shiau Xian.

Then was the all important announcements.

1. There will be no youth service next week. Why?

Details at http://2010.urtherevolution.com/tour.cfm

If you need transport for any of the events please contact pastor Victor A.S.A.P.

*service will continue on the 1st of May

2. Junior Youth Band will be stopped for the moment due to exams. *will probably resume around 20th June.

This week we also took time to appreciate all the April babies.

And after that was the highlight of the night. Sermons by our 2 young preachers Tania and Elisha!

Tania went first. So this is roughly the main points in her message.

I rejoiced with those who said to me, "Let us go to the house of the LORD." - Psalms 122 : 1

They were glad to go to Church. Since being in church gives us such great joy, should't we be sharing the joy with other people?

Its time to move out to bring the church to the people.

Why do we not like moving? or why do we just don't move.

Cause we're so comfortable where we are and attached to our comfort zone.

Sometimes we're also just to scared to take that step of faith and move.

One thing that people need to know is that, God will empower us when we move. You don't need power to sit still right?

I'll end this with no one is meant to stay put, we are all Jesus' hands and feet. Don't waste your life.

GET MOVING!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_3lckhnMdM * I feel this song really ties in with the message.

Okay, now for the other speaker that night.

The one, the big, the intelligent

Elisha Low

His title was 'Reflecting the light of our God, Immitating the work of our Father'

1. Reflecting the light
2. Immitating our Father

1. Matthew 5 :13-16
- We are called to be the salt of the earth and the light to the world.

Sin blocks us from doing what God wants us to do and being sensitive to the word of God.

So we should always stay away from sin and stay close to God and his word.
13We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to keep the Israelites from gazing at it while the radiance was fading away. 14But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away. 15Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. 16But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18And we, who with unveiled faces all reflecta]">[a] the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. -2 corinthians 13-18

We are the reflection of his light, the beacon to the lost. 11Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God.

Worship Summit Report

by SHARON LEOW.

Hello hello to those of you who've missed out on such an occasion like this! You are in for an amazing read-up for what God has done in the lives of the young and the old who attended yr 2010's Worship Summit.

The summit took place at none other than FGA Centre Choong Nam Theatre which held about over a hundred and fifty people, if I'm rather precise enough? It would be a tedious effort to count the number of heads during the sessions, wouldn't it?

At 9.00 am, more people flood into the seats of Sanc 1 adding up to the congregation which had already been present earlier on. We were first instructed to register (we were handed a pweedy nametag with categories on it and a limited edition WORSHIP SUMMIT notebook) before taking our seats.

And what better way to start a 'Worship Summit' then to have a worship session which was led by none other than our fireBRANDS worship team. It was as if an instant, the presence of the LORD washed over the entire sanctuary. The congregation of different aged groups worshipped that day, regardless of whether the songs were much like the ones we sing during our fireBRANDS service.

We were then introduced to Ps. Guy Rozario (a powerful man of God) who spoke on the 'appointed time' that God has preordained for us to worship Him in spirit and in truth and to obey Him and His will that He has put on us.

It is said that:

- We need to come back to a place of obedience because before we can see our nation change, we need to see our church change first.
- We need to worship out of the revelation of God because revelation motivates a relationship between us and God, and unless God reveals Himself to us, we cannot worship.

Session 2 was then lead by Joshua Yeoh which opened our eyes and most definitely has given us a bigger picture of what worship is all about and how we ought to worship.

(1) Worship at the level of your REVELATION
-God is seeking : a) Worshippers who worship in spirit and in truth.
b) The lost who have backslidden.

-Worship is : Connect with God ----> ME <---- connect with others

-Revelation means God opening our eyes to see what He wants to release.
- We are here to POINT people to JESUS!

(2) Worship at the level of your WARFARE
-A wall prophecys a break through
-When we sense a heaviness before we worship God, we need to counter act that feeling by singing praises to God.
- TRUE WORSHIPPERS overturn those walls which are barriers from worshipping God.

(3) Worship at the level of your DESPERATION
-Our desperation is measured not when we stand in front of others but is measured when we are in a secret place with God.
-Greatness is established in the secret place and not on stage.

More sessions were held when we were divided into our respective groups.

This worship summit was not just an event taken place to hype us all up. But it was to help us realize that there are definitely much more things to know about worship and God's revelation for us.
