This week we also took time to appreciate all the April babies.

And after that was the highlight of the night. Sermons by our 2 young preachers Tania and Elisha!

Tania went first. So this is roughly the main points in her message.

I rejoiced with those who said to me, "Let us go to the house of the LORD." - Psalms 122 : 1

They were glad to go to Church. Since being in church gives us such great joy, should't we be sharing the joy with other people?

Its time to move out to bring the church to the people.

Why do we not like moving? or why do we just don't move.

Cause we're so comfortable where we are and attached to our comfort zone.

Sometimes we're also just to scared to take that step of faith and move.

One thing that people need to know is that, God will empower us when we move. You don't need power to sit still right?

I'll end this with no one is meant to stay put, we are all Jesus' hands and feet. Don't waste your life.

GET MOVING!

Okay, now for the other speaker that night.

The one, the big, the intelligent

Elisha Low

His title was 'Reflecting the light of our God, Immitating the work of our Father'

1. Reflecting the light
2. Immitating our Father

1. Matthew 5 :13-16
- We are called to be the salt of the earth and the light to the world.

Sin blocks us from doing what God wants us to do and being sensitive to the word of God.

So we should always stay away from sin and stay close to God and his word.
13We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to keep the Israelites from gazing at it while the radiance was fading away. 14But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away. 15Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. 16But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18And we, who with unveiled faces all reflecta]">[a] the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. -2 corinthians 13-18

We are the reflection of his light, the beacon to the lost. 11Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God.
-3 john 11
