we had a famous guest speaker!

Yep so pre-service started off with prayer! Led by Pastor Victor this time.

Besides stuff like service, worship leader, speaker, etc. (not to say that they're not important) we also prayed for...

...Malaysia! United as one in agreement, praying for a better country:)

So then there was toilet break, and the end of pre-service.

Now we come to service!

And this woman was leading... icebreaker!

Being the fun lady she is, she made us do stuff like that!
It was a mix-up of math, biology and just plain silliness.

Alright then, as we go on! And as time flies by on its two little wings..

...it's time for worship, this time led by Yan-Y and really a back-to-basics night. Going low on the instruments and all but really just focusing on the One whom worship's all about, really.

Different.

Okay next we have announcements by our resident announcer:

Lester!

Announcements included The Plan '11 (talk to Sarah Wong!).

Without further ado let's welcome our guest speaker all the way from KL!

Miss Chan Ming Yen!
(who misses screaming "WELCOME TO FIREBRANDS!" into the microphone)

So she spoke on TRUST.

Yep trust.

Proverbs 3:5. Since we've had that verse THREE sermons in a row (must be reallyx99 important eh)... you should know it by now;)

Trust is to be confident, bold or to put/have hope in sth.

It's worth it cause God never fails us, His promises are yes and amen, and trust always comes with a promise.

So basically Ming Yen shared a few of the many many testimonies of how awesome God's been in her life in KL. From assignment woes, to the question of a life partner and future plans.

Through it all, God's basically taught her lessons through each trial, like the fact that He's faithful; or that we should walk by faith, not by sight.

What's so amazing about God is that He stoops down to make us great (2 Sam 22:36). He's the God of the past and the future, the mountains and the valleys. Our weakness is His strength, His grace is sufficient of us and no good things shall He withhold from us.

Ephesians 3:20, God is more than enough.

So it's a choice:
Trust or not?
