Green

After youth camp, the fireBRANDS were still green (means fresh) and green (means sick) from 5 days of seeing each other, so they had something light.

VEGGIE NIGHT!

It's light because vegetables are light, not like starch or meat, so heavy.

And almost everyone came wearing green (means that colour between blue and yellow in the colour spectrum).

So, we started off with PRAYER.

All the green girls (well almost).. while all the green guys were helping in the sanctuary.

Prayer was led by Sharon.

Then the prayer group multiplied.

As you can see, a number of them were wearing the AYC t-shirts because they were still green from camp.

All the food so far, still green, not unpacked yet.

So finally the people came and we started!

With ICEBREAKER, by our very own Pastor Victor Lim.

Two icebreakers: Chiak Bak (Eat meat! wonder what happened to veggie night) and Dodgeball.

With green and yellow balls, the same ones used in AYC.

Cones = boundaries. Everyone paying attention to the demo with Gary as the model.

Getting up and ready to 'eat meat'.

Ice break already, time to watch VEGGIE TALES!

Two episodes.

First one: A Cucumber (i think?) meets and falls in love with a Rhubarbarian. The Cucumber fights against a supposedly Mighty Warrior, beating him in a joust and winning the part needed to complete the golden goose key. Key unlocks treasure, and Cucumber and Rhubarbarian live happily ever after.

Second one: Minnesota the Indiana Jones finds hidden treasure and faces competition from his arch nemesis, some professor. Long story cut short, Minnesota wins, but shows kindness to the professor, who terlalu terharu.

Sounds boring I know, but it wasn't! If you watch.

Tonton LCD.

Cucumber! (mingyen's choochoomber)

Finish watching d, ma EAT lor.

No lah, where got so fast.. it's youth service remember, always learn something wan.

So Pastor shared a lesson that's easy to learn but tough to practise: LOVE your ENEMIES. However horrible they are.

Okay okay, now EAT.

So hardworking, cut watermelon Christmas tree shape.. thankyou!

Eat and fellowship.

Thankyou to everyone who came and to everyone who brought food (I think more people came and less people brought food).

Love your enemies, means (for some of you) love your veggies!

*next week's youth service, it's Christmas PARTY, pls wear formal. and bring a gift for gift exchange!
